EXPECTATIONS
"My
serenity is inversely proportional to
my expectations. The higher my
expectations of other people are, the
lower is my serenity. I can watch my
serenity level rise when I discard my
expectations. But then my 'rights' try
to move in, and they, too, can force
my serenity level down. I have to
discard my 'rights,' as well as my
expectations, by asking myself, How
important is it, really? How important
is it compared to my serenity, my
emotional sobriety'? And when I place
more value on my serenity and sobriety
than on anything else, I can maintain
them at a higher level - at least for
the time being."Alcoholics

"5
Minutes"
When things go
wrong as they sometimes will.
When the road you're trudging seems
all up hill.
When the funds are low, and
debts are high
And care is pressing you down a bit.
Life is strange with it's twists and
turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turn about.
When he might have won had he stuck
it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems
slow .
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside
out.
The silver tint of the
clouds of doubt.
And you can never tell how close you
are
It may be near , when it seems so
far.
So stick to the fight when your
hardest hit.
Its when things seem worst that you
must not quit.
Don't Quit

Happens!
